You Know You Need to Do Things Differently

You’re here because you know you need a different solution.

Maybe you’ve tried 5, 10, 20 diets over the last decade and you are sick and tired of rules, obsession and thinking about food constantly.

Maybe you’ve gathered so much information about nutrition that you feel paralyzed and scared you are messing thing up every second, so you throw up your hands and say, screw it, why bother, and just eat with abandon.

Look, I get it.

In 2011, that was me.

I was at the tail end of 7 years straight of chronic dieting. I’d lost and gained the same 20-30 lbs multiple times and the things that were “working” in the beginning to lose weight simply weren’t working anymore. I had clothes in my closet from size 4 to size 12, and I was EXHAUSTED from trying to do everything perfectly with my nutrition.

I’d just finished up a string of about 9 months of hardcore dieting—white knuckling my way through, trying to avoid eating chocolate every second of the day—when I realized I didn’t have anything on my calendar to "get ready for" or diet for.

And I said to myself, “Okay Jill, this is it. You have to learn how to eat healthy forever, what does THAT look like?”

And I was terrified!

Terrified to try anything different, even though clearly the weekly deprive-then-binge cycle I was in was NOT working. Every Monday I’d wake up feeling guilty and shameful for the weekend of overindulging I’d had, and vow to “be good this week!”

I’d try to “tighten up” and “just be stronger” or better: Dammit, Jill, WHY can’t you stay on this diet?? Look at all these people who are seemingly having no issue doing it! You’re so weak, you can’t even go a day without a cheat??!

And the negative self-talk and berating and dieting rules … never worked.

Einstein said, “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.”

Well, I had to finally look and the mirror and see that that was me.

As scared as I was, I needed a new solution. I was so dang miserable.

So I started slowly taking bites of things that were previously “off limits.”

I started slowly showing myself kindness and moving on after indulgences faster.

I started practicing mindfulness and abundance around food.

And over the course of 3 years, I became someone who ate the same on Saturday that they did on Monday. Moderation 365 days a year.

I finally experienced food freedom. I went from thinking about food 100% of the day to thinking about it maybe 5%. Things feeling automated. Easy. Enjoyable.

And the thing I was terrified of happening--gain 50 lbs overnight and losing control!--did not happen. I found that I could trust myself around food, that food really did not have power over me. That I could handle any food situation anytime.

And thus, #Moderation365 was born.

I reverse engineered my own process and worked with hundreds of clients to perfect the system. And 6 years later we’ve had thousands go through this curriculum.

It truly is magical if you have the courage to try a new way.

It’s changed the lives of thousands of men and women over the last 7 years and I want you to experience it, too.

I hope you join us.

How the 1:1 #Moderation365 Coaching WorksπŸ‘‡

Upon enrollment, you'll complete a quickie assessment and within a couple days, our Head of Coaching, Sara will be reaching out to welcome you and get you connected with your 1:1 #Moderation365 Coach and begin the coaching process.

Communication will be dictated by your coach (I.e. email, messenger, text, etc.).

Your coaching will include:

  • Weekly 1:1 phone calls with your coach, scheduled for a time that is convenient for you, to work through the week's lesson and help you troubleshoot on the fly what's working for you
  • Ongoing communication with your coach between calls to make sure things are going well, and if they aren't, not to be hard on you (lol) but instead to troubleshoot something that will work better. <--THIS is why I'm a huge fan of 1:1 coaching because honestly, if something isn't working, we change it in real time!
  • Access to the #Moderation365 coaching materials, which include an initial asessement, worksheets to complete, trackers and templates for implementing the exercises and practices your coach is going to teach you -- each week, your coach will be introducing a new nutrition concept and helping lower the barrier of entry for you so that you can actually do it.
  • Regular check-ins on how you're doing with the new behaviors and troubleshooting if needed. This program is the OPPOSITE of a rigid meal plan or strict food lists. Your coach will be providing ideas, inspiration and most importantly, the tactical tools to make sure you can actually do this, and are successful.

Our coaches are not only certified in the #Moderation365 nutrition methodology, but they are stellar coaches, which as you know is a specific skill set.

Our coaches are empathic, understanding, validating, motivational and most importantly, they're all undergone their own nutrition transformation so they know exactly how you feel.

Your coach will work with you to tease out your specific nutrition formula, what will work for you long-term and based on your goal: fat loss, muscle gain, moderation and mindfulness, balance and more.

If you have any specific questions, you can always email us [email protected] and we can help you make the right decision FOR YOU.

Let's do this!

Hi, I'm Jill Coleman, MS

Creator of the #Moderation365 Method

After doing extreme, obsessive dieting for a decade, I decided I wanted how to figure out how to eat normally, healthfully, forever. No swings, no binging, no depriving

And it was scary! Ha! After following dozens of restrictive diets and losing and gaining the same 20-30 lbs multiple times within a year for a decade, I didn't know how to do anything else.

But after getting to the point of complete misery where thinking about food felt like a FULL-TIME JOB, I knew I needed to change something.

Over the course of 3 years, I slowly started breaking the binge-then-deprive cycle and started to even out the all-or-nothing eating I'd been doing.

The #Moderation365 curriculum came out of my own journey and then subsequently helping over 10,000 women overcome their extreme dieting, and drop their food obsession for good so they can enjoy their lives, stress- and shame-free, via our flagship program 4-Week Food Obsession Boot Camp, which launched in April 2014.

Now I'm inviting you to join me in taking this trusting leap!

It's a proven system, so this should be an easy YES if you're struggling to find balance, sustainability and want to finally quit chronic dieting for good, and learn how to eat the same on Saturday that you do on Monday.

Sara Baker, Head of Coaching

Sara Lynn Baker, MS, CSCS has worked in the fitness industry for eighteen years. Sara earned a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science from Oregon State University and a Masters of Science in Sports Studies from High Point University. Sara has additional certifications that include: Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Pre- and Post-Natal Exercise Specialist, ACE Nutrition Fitness Specialist, Behavior Change Specialist, Health Coach and Certified Group Exercise Instructor.

Sara is passionate about helping simplify fitness and healthy eating.  Sara believes that there is no one size fits all when it comes to nutrition and behavior change.  Her nutrition philosophy includes helping her clients find an eating style that is sustainable, enjoyable and result oriented.  After struggling with infertility and then being finally able to have children, Sara's mindset around food shifted.  She no longer had the mental energy to obsess over food, she was focused on taking care of her new baby.  Through practice and using many of the Moderation365 principles, Sara was able to break free from food obsession.    Eight years later, Sara still practices Moderation365 daily.

Sara is the proud mother of an 8 year old boy, 6 year old daughter and 12 year old English Bulldog.   Sara works full time in corporate wellness  and when not working with clients or working out, she enjoys cooking, traveling, reading, watching sports with her husband coaching her kids' soccer teams in Colorado.

Evelyn LeVasseur

Evelyn LeVasseur is a wife and mom of two amazing girls. She began healing her relationship with food once she realized how her negative sense of self was impacting both her ability to connect fully in her
marriage and also being able to model true self-acceptance for her daughters.

Evelyn now helps women reach their body goals without dieting or deprivation. Because Evelyn dieted for almost 19 years of her life, she understands the mental, physical, and emotional toll it takes on you.

She focuses on helping the whole woman, not just her outside. Together, Evelyn and her clients focus heavily on building legacies of generational health.

Evelyn is a transformational speaker, #Moderation365 and Metabolic Effect hormonal fat loss nutrition coach, NASM certified group and personal trainer, and has a specialization in behavior change. She also
has a BA in Psychology and a Master’s in Education.

Emily Miner

For nearly a decade of Emily’s life, she was obsessed with food and exercise. She hated her body, the exhaustion was real (a function of overtraining, under-eating, and mental gymnastics keeping track of every last morsel of food that went into her mouth ), and her relationship with food was… not good. “My cravings were through the roof,” she says. “I was always hungry, and my day was not done until my workout was complete. And at age 21, my body was nearly broken. But, it led me to #moderationeating and efficient exercise, and for that, I am eternally grateful.”

Emily’s passion lies in coaching in the areas of nutrition, exercise, and mindset. Since 2012, she’s been teaching women how to stop dieting and create leaner, stronger, healthier bodies and a lifestyle they can sustain

Some things you might not know about Emily:

  • I’m 32 years old.
  • I didn’t start lifting weights until after college. Now, I can’t imagine my life without it.
  • I was a vegetarian for 12+ years because I thought it was healthier. My diet consisted of dry cereal, oatmeal, rice cakes, pretzels, nut butter, sugar-free everything, fruit, veggies, and all sorts of fake meat lol
  • I ran one half marathon in college. It was the last day of spring break and I dragged a girlfriend to do it with me 😳 (the rest of our friends slept in! ha). Today, I’m faster and fitter doing less.
  • My coaching approach is holistic. It’s not just about nutrition and exercise (e.g., sleep, stress management). Everything affects everything.
  • Fave foods: giant chopped salads, bun-less burgers, coffee, chocolate, protein smoothies/bars; I also love sourdough bread 🀷🏻‍♀️

After our time together is over, my goal is that you won’t need me or any other coach (or plan), ever again. I can’t wait to work with you!

Mandy Martin

Mandy is a certified personal trainer and fitness instructor with over 15+ years in the industry.

Currently working with clients both online and in-person, Mandy helps clients achieve time and nutritional freedom through simple workouts and #Moderation365.

After years of deprivation and bingeing through diet after diet, following meal plans that were NOT a one-size-fits-all (how could they be?), and counting EVERYTHING (macros, calories, containers), Mandy began seeking a more sustainable approach to nutrition, one that could last a lifetime and put a stop to the roller coaster that she had been on for years.

Enter JillFit and #Moderation365. Having followed Jill for a number of years, Mandy began adopting, implementing, and finding success through the moderation principles Jill developed and shared from her own experiences. When the opportunity to certify as a Moderation Nutrition Consultant presented itself, it was a no-brainer for Mandy to pursue, as she was already living the #Moderation365 lifestyle and wanted to help others do the same.

Mandy’s ideal client is one who has tired of the all-or-nothing approach to nutrition, who is looking to add time back into their day, and reduce the mental load and stress that comes from overthinking and obsessing over every.single.food.choice.
